After hours of work from 7:00 p.m. to 4:00 a.m. and then another 5 or 6 hours in the library I finally AFTER DAYS and a complete weekend trip have ended my relationship with Holothuria Scabra Sea Cucumber. The research paper is done and submitted. Out of sight, out of mind.
Aside from school work which will continue over the course of the weekend due a test that has been scheduled for Monday at 11:00 a.m. on LABOR DAY. An important American holiday! What are they thinking of scheduling a test on such a day?
...Otherwise another great Thursday. No school on Fridays so the weekend is officially here. We are planning on hiking Brisbane Forest Park tom. It's supposed to be beautiful and have some great bushwalking trails. Then Brisbane RiverFire this weekend.
Note: Whoever said grocery shopping wasn't a chore has never truly done it. Not only is our grocery store a good 15-20 minute walk away BUT when walking back with a gallon of milk, orange juice, fruit, chicken, ect...I without a doubt broke a sweat. You think of it, I carried it. So now my cabinets are stocked and refrigerator is full for the upcoming week. I cooked bow tie pasta with ground beef and tomato sauce for dinner, which will now last me multiple dinners for the week. Can't wait.
The remaining bit of night will consist of movie watching, lazing on the couch for girls night, and studying "Australia's Terrestrial Environment" before bed. Then up early and off for a day of in the forest and mountains with my legit hiking backpack.
